Everyone cares what others think, or we would all wear slacks from Marks & Spencer and a polo from the bargain bucket at TK Maxx.

But, as I always say - my hobby, my money, my choice...

You’ve clearly never met me

I genuinely don’t care what anyone thinks of me or what I wear. I gave up caring what anyone thinks a long time ago. I have some trousers from Marks and Spencer, they’re a damn fine fit and quality made.

Last round of golf I played in November I was wearing a Polo shirt covered in flamingos and palm trees from SHEIN, for no reason other than I liked it. Even people I play with don’t attempt to take the pee as they know it’s water off a ducks back as I don’t care.

However I will never step foot in a TKmax, not because of the clothing as they do some decent gear but because I can’t stand the jumble sale nature of the lay out

The day I limit myself to golf only branded clothing and following what everyone else wears just to fit in, that’s the day I will need putting down. I will always be unashamedly myself regardless of what others think or say .

Playing in Surrey tomorrow, forecast fine, so have prepped grey FJ pants, sky blue PM polo, long sleeved PM navy zip up, light PM navy gilet and a long sleeved PM waterproof 1/4 zip just in case. Navy GFore shoes to matchy matchy.

With Lucifer's talk of using Vinted for golf stuff, I thought there's a site I haven't checked lately. Had a little look and to my surprise found a putting mat for sale for only around 15 quid so I snapped it up. Just need to get a lot of reps in to make this claw/pencil grip more natural so that'll do nicely.

The standard of predictable attempted funnies on here is sooooo poor

No store visit, was more interested in the Guinness.

Never been to a range with an upper level before, so was a novelty. Hate ranges full stop. Oh and I didn't pay.

That comment wasn't intended as a joke. Silvermere has a store called Elevated where they stock the higher brands like Malbon, Greyson, Manors etc It is at the end of the range on the left hand side as you walk up the stairs.

Think today is a day of fine rain/drizzle in the area looking at the forecast
