How would you play this ball?

As all other options seem to be covered I'd hit a half 6 iron aimed at the second tree on the right and expect it hit the tree next to it and rebound softly on the green leaving an uphill 2 foot putt (which I'd miss)

A big Phil 64* wedge flop shot, that ends up at least 150 yards away :(.

And before some smart ass says it, a bit further than some of my drives of late.:D

I would have played it a lot quicker than you did, nothing worse than getting held up by someone taking photos on the course. No wonder the game is taking longer.....

If I used a wedge off that lie I most likely make 2 or 3 nice steady practice swings then a quick jerky swing to knife it straight through the green into a world of pain.

Based on that I'd play safe and Bump it with the putter.

Definitely not at Trump, I seen it in action at Carnoustie
Yep, it was brilliantly used to punt the ball from a hollow behind the green into a bunker in front of the green... Then never seen again 😂

For the shot in question, I'd use a PW. Open stance, no wrist break, no shaft lean, get it rolling ASAP. Simples.

Only a society behind me, not bothered about them when I am trying to get some pics taken.

firm Putting stroke with a 9 iron

Or you could borrow Fundys chipper :)

Phil, his chipper is a 17* hybrid and he is pretty deadly with it!
