On average £30-£50 but if I come across something I really like, I''l buy it, especially some of the Boss polo's, I've got a couple already that were well over £50 and are really smart and excellent quality.

If a Boss is seen to be poor quality material, its probably a snide IMO.

I will say I do love a good bargain though and I love my vintage Penguin polo's, they get a run out now and then

Before my last purchase my highest price was £35 I would not have considered
much more.
However I just paid £90 for a Galvin Green top.
Imo a stupid amount for a top but I just loved the look of it.
Thankfully it fits perfect and does look the business.
Should last a couple of seasons at least so good value compared to a round
of golf that lasts 4 hours.

Hope it stays in good nick, I was gifted a calvin green that was a weird material that kinda clung to my skin when sweating and lost its shape after a couple of wears/wash's (maybe slipped through the QC process though but wouldn't take another even as a gift)

I'm a big fan of Oscar Jacobsen but i'm very reluctant to pay much more than £30 for a polo shirt, especially when there's always deals to be had. Hugo Boss golf stuff is absolutely astounding, that said I would happily wear head to toe of it for free

I would pay 31-50 and have done for shirts that I like. Would never go over that. usually just buy last season's stuff off eBay for sub 30 though.

ditto this

I did recently buy a JL shirt that I really liked, it was being sold for £90 which I just could not justify paying for a golf shirt. Hung on for it and nabbed it in a sale for £40.

I had a similar experience with a GG T Shirt... Very nice modern fabric and great fit, but only lasted one season before it got a bit shapeless and started to look a bit worn... On the other hand, I've got a few of the Nike Dry-Fit polo shirts and they wash fantastically and still look relatively new, even after a couple of seasons.. I know where my money will go in future..

Similar here, I've got a couple of Nike shirts that came South with me 3 years ago which I'd probably had for a year or so prior to moving and they still look nearly new!

For a polo for golf I wouldn't pay more than £30, I've a nice orange Fred Perry which was about £50 but that's not a golf top. You can get really good polos from uniqlo for £14.90 I can't recommend these enough.

That's what ya get with Calvin Green. .

As little as possible. Crocodiles or Polo Players on horseback make me swing no better so unless they're prepared to pay me for advertising their horrendously overpriced merchandise I'll stick with end of lines and last year's models.

Just picked up 2 Nike polos in the sale ticketed at £59 for £10 each.

Just seen a really nice looking Ralph Lauren golf top in TK Maxx for under £30. If it was not for the fact that they only had normal people sizes and nothing in the porky range then I would have had it

I wouldn't say that I would never pay £100+ for a golf shirt but it would have to be one hell of a top to justify that sort of money. If I like a shirt I will usually buy it whether it is £5 or £50.

As iam small, nike and Adidas stuff feel big on me.So all my gear is hugo boss, lindeberg.lyle and Scott.Cant do with ill fitting clothes.

Always buy in the sales, so anywhere from £4.99 to £29.99, max.
I once bought a shirt under duress from Rickg for £35, but it's one of my favourites, and he got a great discount on other clobber, I seem to remember.

With all the sales and internet options I'd very rarely if ever pay over £30. Only exception that springs to mind would be a souvenir shirt from a special course or event.
