For some reason I have multiple set of the same irons

Two sets of Nike pro combos rifle 5.0 and an unmarked stiff set
Two sets of titleist 690mb although one set is 690mb.
Mizuno mp33
Strater irons - first set of mens irons.
Two sets of Mizuno silver cup. Was planning to restart them but made a hash of it and put it on the back burner.

Drivers include
Titleist 910 d3
Two Mizuno mp650 8.5&9.5
Two tm r7
Callaway ft5

Various other bits and bobs that I really should just bin but happy for it to sit about. Take the odd notion and take them out for a spin. I should send some stuff back to Ireland to spruce my bag up over there.

In the attic are,

Sounder Blades with 1&2 irons
Titleist Blades 690mb
Snake eyes Blades 685b (I think:confused:)

2 Persimmon Drivers plus a 3&5wood
3 Titleist drivers 975, 983, 905
1 Titleist 3w PT15
1 Mizuno T-Zoid driver and 3w
2 Mizuno MP 600&630 Drivers

3 Vokey wedges 52 58 58
2 Snake eyes wedges 52 58
3 Cleveland 588 Rotex Wedges 52 56 58 in good condition only 18month old

1 Wilson TPA putter
1 Odessey Rossie II now a belly putter
6 Scotty Cameron's

1 Titleist Classic Black and white Tour bag
1 Mizuno Tour bag
1 Bridgestone Carry bag

Dont start me on gadgets and training aids.........

8 assorted persimmon woods
Set of Jack Nicklaus blades
Set of Callaway X-16 Pro irons
Set of Ping Zing 2 irons
Mizuno 1 iron
Ping Zing 2 iron
Wilson TPA putter
2 Ball putter
2 Ping wedges
2 Mizuno wedges
2 Cleveland wedges
A Scotty Cameron putter
3 other putters
2 Callaway hybrids
A spare callaway shaft
Ping i25 3 iron
2 Tour bags that hold them all

No need for any of them really and the only thing I would keep is a Jack Nicklaus putter and the Wilson TPA.

Should stick the job lot on eBay really.

I had a clear out after HID got access to the garage one day.....however I still have:

4 x drivers
9 x driver shafts
2 x 3 woods
2 x mini-drivers
2 x sets of irons
7 x hybrids
4 x sets of wedges
3 x putters
1 x cart bag
2 x carry bags
1 x pencil bag

1 x chipper......

I try and part ex or sell any old stuff i have to get new gear. Don't see the point in having a shed full of old gear when it's worth money that could be put towards shiny stuff. I currently have what i play with plus another putter that stays in my locker. I also have a carry bag with about 4 brolleys in there but a coming boot sale will get put paid to them.

Not got too much surplus in my garage, I think I've managed to stay on top of the gear acquisition syndrome so far.

I keep a spare bag of clubs and equipment for visiting family/friends in the garage comprised of my cast-offs. Nothing fancy.
I have a set of 4-PW Mizuno MP68 irons boxed up and ready to sell but can't actually bring myself to part with them as they are flipping beautiful.
3 Mizuno bags that all get used for different courses and travel conditions: cart, standbag and a pencil.

Have 2 drivers - the 910 D2 in the sig and a Callaway X Hot which I have just gone back to
2 bags - one trolley and one carry bag, and then I have the stuff in my sig.
2 putters, though one of them is an old dunlop hand-me-down, so that'll be going in the bin when I get round to it

Have just sold my old irons, so don't have a massive amount of gear.

Apart from current bag of stuff

4 x old drivers
1 x old set of Titleist irons
1 x old 3 wood
1 x old 5 wood
1 x set of (beginner's) irons
3 x knackered trolley bags
1 x old Sun Mountain carry bag

Time to go down the tip I reckon.

3 drivers
two 3 woods
two 2 ions
2 sets of irons
1 60 deg wedge
3 SW 56 deg
1 Sw 58 deg
one 9 iron
one 3 iron
one 6 iron
1 carry bag
1 tour bag
1 cart bag
1 scratch sack (light bag)
6 Scotty putters
1 cobra putter

prob missed a few as well

unfortunately this lot is all as well as whats in my bag at the moment;)

Clearly I am a rank amateur compared to some.
I like the idea of a spare bag for visitors but I find any golfing visitors tend to bring their own gear so it just sits there and depreciates for no good reason.

seen a few where people are considering tipping/binning old gear.

Just an idea, there are some golf charities that may welcome the offer of free gear.

This is one I have heard of : http://leewestwoodgolfschool.com/

Maybe do a mass donation?

I did offer my old stuff to the junior organiser at my club when I had a mass clear out before moving house. She wasn't overly thrilled but did take a couple of putters of my hands. Not sure if it was her just being picky (the gear has always been well looked after) or if juniors are just getting more and fussy. In the end I just took a lot of it to a charity store and dumped the oldest stuff

Oops.......another 3 wood has somehow found it's way into my collection. That's 4 of them now
