How much do you play in the winter?

every weekend if the course is open , work stops me from playing during the week ,, up to last year id try get to the range on a wed evening .. may get back to it ..

As luck would have it i'm a member at two links courses 50 miles apart so get to play all through winter unless there is snow, which there has been the last couple of years. :(

One of the clubs has a very good reciprical arrangement with about 10 other clubs so can get a game somewhere.

Saturday and Sunday in the winter strangely as there is a comp on sat as usual though non qualifying and a 18 hole society within the club which plays all winter.

We run qualifiers on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays throughout the year provided the course is not completely unplayable due to being snowbound or frozen solid. There are members who do not want to play qualifiers in winter but there is a healthy majority who will turn out in all sorts of weather (including me with my trusty chipper).

same as the rest of the year; every sat and sun and once or twice during the week (although often can only get 12 holes or so in after work before all the lights go out

First season playing golf but have entered the winter league which runs on Sundays and will be playing in the swindle on Saturdays. Best I find a good set of winter gloves I think.

Last winter I played pretty much every weekend, both days, unless the weather halted it.

Usually got in one range night a week at the local floodlit

Every Sunday there is a members comp and during the winter we have a society that plays between rosapenna and my gaffe for twelve ish weeks and I think there is a comp on Saturdays too

I've only just returned to golf after a 3 year break,so i didn't have to suffer the awful winters over the last two years.Prior to giving up,i played every weekend in winter, scratch pairs winter league one week, and handicap pairs winter league the next. The leagues were run saturdays and sundays,i played saturdays and played in a fiddle on the sunday.
To be honest,i can count on one hand the amount of times the weather was too bad to play.

I think I need to move to Notts!!!

The reason I left my last club is that it has only half the course open and all on temp greens from end of Oct to begining of April !!!!!

I pay my subs for 12 months of proper golf not pitch and putt for 5 months!!!!!!!

Every one has different expectations.....mine are 12 months on proper greens...found 2 courses close to me with USPGA standard greens, no temps in the winter, one will be getting my money this year :) :)
