I was away at the weekend playing in our annual , 4 round stableford challenge for our society's prestigious trophy. Played Dumfries & County on the Friday night followed by Wigtownshire and Portpatrick dunskey on the Saturday and Stranraer on the Sunday . All beautiful courses, question is as I've no playing partners tonight with the excuse being there golfed out from the weekend, due to to many rounds in 3 days, how many rounds does it take you to feel golfed out?

We all played to a simalar level, but iam the only one itching to play tonight.

Last week I played

Sunday club comp

Tues forum meet Tyrells Wood

Wed mixed club comp

Thurs scratch knockout

Sat Captain /Pro challenge

Sun divisional championship

All with a heavy summer cold. Too many games for me.

In terms of consecutive days, I think I could quite happily play every single day for years before getting "golfed out". Do get tired if playing more than 1 round in a day though.

Went to Myrtle beach last year and played for 10 days solid. I enjoyed it but had a few days off when I got back.

Don't think I have ever felt golfed out. A couple of years ago I had a range session and then played 18 holes Mon-Wed, drove to Devon Thursday morning and played 18 holes in the afternoon, 27 on Friday & Saturday and 18 on Sunday before driving home. All I wanted to do Monday was play golf.

I usually play a couple of nights a week and then the weekend, no problem.

On the odd back holiday weekend i tend to play Friday, Sat, Sun and Monday on the trot and get a bit jaded from that. 4 daysin a row is it for me.

Next week I will play, Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun

Thats a tad golfed out, 3 of them rounds are HC counting comps and two are for the Flat Cap OOM so technically 5 comps next week.

Apparently 9 holes does me ;)

Seriously though I think 3 days on the trot is my max in this heat anyway. Could probably manage a lot more if I used buggies on each day but woud struggle if I tried 36 holes on a single day.

Not sure "golfed out" exists! Last year played Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri & Sun would've played Saturday but for travelling back from Spain into Manchester then driving from there back to London!

Have done 8 or 9 days on the bounce a few times (normally on our annual Scotland trip) but a couple of years ago I played in North Wales, did 18 on the Monday, 36 on Tuesday, then 18 on Wednesday - the 36 killed me. Could only just make it round for the last day, then got cramp driving back.

If I could I would play every single day. Doesn't matter how badly I played, I would probably still want to get back out on the course, either straight away if I'd played early enough, or the very next day.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday last week then Sunday, Monday (2 rounds) and Tuesday with Smiffy's mob in all that heat at Gainsborough. I will admit to the body giving up the ghost after 8 holes yesterday - well, the index finger of my left hand did, but I could still walk the other 10 holes.

This is my thoughts, love the game however I've played and always look forward to the next round to improve

I was unemployed two years ago after leaving uni. I played every single day I could. even if it was 9 holes in the evening. sometimes months in a row.

you lot need to man up !

I feel "golfed out" now after playing in the blistering heat today. Great idea of Alex1975 with his spray bottle though, I'll be down the pound shop tomorrow

This spray bottle sounds interesting, is it just one of them things you use to spray plants?

I might invest in one

I could quite easily play every day from now until they bury me. I dont get tired playing golf just after :D
