how long would it take you to play a round on your home course?

Our course is just under 6,500 yards, relatively flat. Depends to some extent on the makeup of the fourball, but assuming average ability, a fairly brisk pace, and no looking for balls, I would say no more than 3 and a quarter, hopefully around 3.

It starts at 1st tee end on 18th green and however long it takes time wise is the time it takes.

At ours would say just under the 4 hours.

Today played in that format at Enville but on shotgun start from the 12 th , caught the group in front in two holes and we took 4 hrs 40 :( and then just as long for dinner and prizes, picked up bottle of wine for NP on 5 and team came 4th

I would have thought around four hours at our place, perhaps a bit quicker if there was little time spent looking for balls

some interesting answers here, i would expect my usual 3 ball in a comp to get round in 3 hours or less with no one in front.

We had The Tomatin pro am the other week and the starter told me that each of the 3 days the first group out took 4 and half hours..

then we wonder why there is slow play if the 1st group out sets the pace at 4.5hrs its going to be 6 by the end of the field and running late on tee times....
