How long does a bad game of golf affect your mood?

After a bad Sunday mornings golf, do you...

Since 6o'clock last night and its still going, wasnt the score thats done it that was not bad, I caught a 9 iron on the toe and its left the worst scratch ever on my Burner 2.0 iron, I think hitting a brick would have done less :-(

i dont tend to dwell too much on a bad round! lost a match ystday as i had 3/4 3putts. awful stuff! played great tee to green! u just have to go out the next day and try and improve! club chucking and kicking the dog when you get home helps no one!

I never mope about a bad round. As soon as the clubs are in the car and a pint is in my hand, I can usually laugh about it with my playing partners. I'm still laughing about the 16 points I scored last season at Longridge after shooting a 76 the day before. Whats the point in playing if its going to spoil your mood....

Luckily I can leave it at the 18th, I always focus on the shots that I played really well (which are not that many) and that just makes me want to come straight back to play and improve.

I don't mope about all day but it does annoy me and is at the back of my mind for the rest of the day if I've played like a @@@@ so I voted as a moper.

If its been horrendously bad I might be a little cheesed off till I take the first sip of beer. Besides, if I walk over to the 'big table,' where all the guys sit that have played in the roll up, with a face like a slapped ****** I'll get ripped to bits. And there's always next week.

I cant choose any of the options
I need at least a week option
it really rattles me when i play very poor
this game shows no mercy

I've been in a strop since November.

Even back when I was playing ok, a bad round would annoy me until the next time I could play, to exorcise the demons.

Golf is to be endured, not enjoyed.

I used to be really bad, especially if a bad round was followed up by a Fulham defeat but now I leave it on the 18th. I'll go through it in my head and work out where I went wrong and if there is anything that needs working on but I don't let it affect me

For some reason I get more moody if I've played on my own and had a bad round. I think the banter with others seems to calm me down if I've had a shocker. Trying to find the positives helps and that's my plan this year. Forget all of the rubbish, and go over the good shots. I used to be a real sulker but having missed a chunk of last year I only have to think about that to realise I should be grateful to be out playing.

If I've had a bad day I'll replay the round in my head, getting steadily more annoyed for about 3-4 hours.
After that I'm fine.
