Just made an on-line booking for 18 holes at Lindfield GC in West Sussex for 1.50 tomorrow afternoon.
Not a bad little course, usually in reasonable condition and never too busy.
£6.75 per player on a Sunday!
Even if I play crap, I haven't lost a lot

No. I told you I was going to practice. 18 holes around Lindfield works out cheaper than a couple of buckets of balls, and is a lot more interesting.
