I suspect the whole thing developed thus:-

Accountant "I will get on to a Californian developer"
Westy "Good"
Accountant "We have appointed an architect and builder. They will complete the house right down to the tube of toothpaste in each bathroom"
Result is a typical Californian/Florida mess. IT IS TERRIBLE imo

Where do the guys across the pond get their taste! That interior is naff, I'd spend another $7m ripping it out and putting it right!

The female estate agent top right looked decent though. Definitely not for me. That putting green was way too small
