Hot days, dry ground...

Mono, was that in inches not yards?

My best drive of the weekend (and there wasnt much in contention for it) was about 260 at most, maybe 250 and I am 5'9" and weight 15 stone, anymore power equals lost balls.

There is no way in a cat in hells change a 15 year old can drive 361 yards, I mean you would need to be about 200 yards above the fairway, with a gale behind you and the fairways like concret to ge4t even close.

HNJ - are you truely saying you beleive it?

Of course he isn't- look at the wink smiley!

God, it would take a heavily sedated, non golfing, neanderthal to even consider that claim to be true!

Eagle, that last quote just about ticks all the boxes and i'm still not buying it

BTW, HID's grandad use to claim he had the longest shot EVER.
He hit a wedge that landed on a goods train!!!!

I drove our second hole today 361 off the back but not sure hard ground very hot my best ever tee shot and the roll and just downwind was buzzing made birdie.

"just downwind" more like a gale!! 361 yards is quite unbelievable . . .literally mate. You must be built like a tank!!!! :)

I really dont see what the fuss is about. If Mono says he hit it 361 then I for one can easily believe it . He looks a big lad on his picture. I spanked one 380yds a couple of weeks ago (it was measured with SC too so very accurate). Point is ,it was downwind and the fw was rock hard and sloped left to right. I landed it high left and it just ran and ran. I'm not a massive hitter but these distances are easily attainable in the conditions we've had lately. Just because you havnt done it yourself doesnt mean others cant

380- were you on top of a cliff or something because even long drive competitors dont hit that far usually in the ones ive seen on the telly

Today, I absolutely nailed my drive, I had a steady tailwind and drove a par 4 green that was 282yds.

And when I say nailed, I mean middled it, creamed it, ripped it.....mono, sorry fella, you need to start measuring in yds and not feet ;)

This is what is turning me away from this forum, golf is about trust and the amount of porkie pies being typed out and petty arguments is really getting boring.

The age limit for most forums is 16 for a reason and a 15 year old should have never been allowed to sell kit let alone sell the amount that has gone under the noses of mods and admin a like.

jammydodger I am not doubting you, there is no way is a cat in hells chance a 15 year old who is scoring level or there abouts on every round and hitting the ball 380 yards with an open purse is above board and looks like a bin man on the range!
