i am going on holiday in 3 weeks and would like to know if anybody can recomend any golf books to read cause i cant play as it is our family hols buti would like to keep my hand in somehow
 
Depends on what you want to do. The Rotella series are good for keeping the golf mind active but if you want an easy read, Bring me the head of Segio Garcia and Nice Jumpers are both good reads
 
'Somewhere in Ireland a village is missing an idiot' by David Feherty is a very good read.
 
If it's instructional stuff you're after there are any number of good books depending on your needs.

If it's something lighter "Four iron in the sole" by Lawrence Donnegan is a cracking read. He's a golf correspondent with The Guardian (don't let that put you off) who spent a season as a caddy on Tour for Ross Drummond in the 1990's.

It's funny, littered with insights into the life of a caddy, and I've read it more than once yet still can't help but smile.
