I am insured but it only pays out for official comps, the bar wasn't that busy so I bought everyone in there a drink and then put a bottle of rum on the end of the bar for when anyone else came in.

Hole was 117 yards into the wind, hit a PW that just caught the front of the green, one bounce and about a foot of run straight in.

Ooh! Opening a bag of worms there. Is length everything? I've played innumerable par 3s of 120 yards and under. Many of them have been immeasurably more difficult than many par 3s of more than 200 yards. Do not dismiss without playing?

A hole in one is a hole in one no matter what the yardage , how often have you seen anybody hole it from 117yards . Congratulations fella we would all love to do it

Our second is exactly 117 yards - £10 says you don't make a 3.

we have a a few short par 3's at ours but very small greens, tree's and bunkers and always a breeze as its v flat and exposed.... good luck getting a HIO on them
