Hitting the woods spectacularly today...

2 Douglas fir, an Oak, a Beech and a couple of larch.

If there was a branch in between me and the green today I hit it, just one of those days.

I hit some great woods today as well, no idea what they were mind, the balls were too far into the woods to tell which one they finally hit

I lost two balls on our second. The first drive I hit ok but started it too far right. It was trying to draw back towards the fairway but clipped a branch and was never seen again, probably OB. Played a provisional and that was just a huge wild slice way into the forest. To be fair I did have a couple head towards timber and managed to find their way through to safety so it was probably an honourable draw between timber and myself today

had the same yesterday, any sliver of branch/trunk between me and my target was promptly hit, one came back towards me, 1 went OB and another I thought had just clipped the top of a fir, I ran out expecting to be on or around the green then it dropped out from the bottom of the tree.... ah well, thats golf
