High right elbow, across the line

Anyone had this problem At the top of the backswing and found a solution? Can’t seem to fix it and have been trying everything.
 
I have the old flying right elbow and across the line club(they are kind of two separate problems, as you can have only one of them).

Wish I had as much talent as any of the above players, and could drop the club back down on plane, sadly I don't, my hands come out on the way down to try to flatten the shaft/clubhead behind the heads and have an out to in swing with a bit of a chopping across the ball action and a feathered fade as a result on most shots:D

For me, it happens as the elbows separate from each other. I have one of these in the shed but never got round to using it :-

So don't know if it would work, certainly felt different the brief go I had with it..
 
He said causing, not caused by. He's asking you what the problem is with the shot, i.e. going left, right, too low etc etc.

Oh yeah sorry I misread the post.

I’d say it’s making me inconsistent due to the timing And sequencing needed to Hit the ball.
