Just wanted to say hi to the forum.
Started playing again about a month ago, new clubs trying to get a swing going etc. I am just bemused by the amount of info around on tinternet and forums.
Some of the topics on this forum have also been interesting.
I am a great believer in keeping things simple and have found this really helpful link. Hope everyone else who hasn't seen it finds useful too. :)

Welcome jeffc......

I follow jc's advice to the letter, he's da man.

NOT! :)

Whatever you want to ask, fire away.....there's bound to be some help around here.

Just remember to work on your P-P-P. Pivot, Plane and Path.....that's all there is too it.

I wish :)

Welcome, you just dropped 5 shots off your game by joining her. I kid you not!

Enjoy.

many thanks to everyone for their welcome messages.

Yes I need a lot of help but as I said I only started again about 5 weeks ago, have played half a dozen rounds and managed to dip under three figures yesterday (97) which isn't any great shakes when I see the handicaps a lot of you guys play off.
I've sort of got a swing going but it's a bit like a UB40 song (1 in 10) not very consistant.
Am planning to book a course of lessons this week, buy 5 and get one free because, I don't really like the approach of just having 1 or two lessons and prefer to work methodically and not just look for quick fixes for errors in the swing.
Of all the stuff I have read I must admit to being a fan of Leslie King and his approach, interested to know what other folks think?
