finally decided to register and say hi to you all.

Ive been reading these forums for the 6 months that ive been playing and some of the information ive took aboard has been a great help.
Im in my mid 30`s and dont have an official handicap although when playing friends i seem to always be given 18 and i generally hit in the low 90`s with that, really wish i had took this game up a lot sooner .

i play with mostly Callaway irons/woods and thanks to this forum am a dedicated AD333 fan.

I dont have a natural fade/draw as it can be either depending on how bad im playing

so thats me

Where about in the West Mids do you play?

Mainly we play at Brandon woods (a muni near Coventry) as it in the middle of where we are.although we have played :
West midlands near Solihull
Ansty
Forest of Arden (got to love corporate cards )
Newbold common in Leamington

played some others in milton keynes etc but cant remember the names

There's alot to be said for the older golfer Ian.

The less young golfer normally has more patience, time and more understanding of the game, it's dress code and it's traditions. They tend to show more self control and very rarely let the frustrations of the game get to them and finally, most have realistic goals due to the age limitations and time left on the planet.
Alas, on the other hand, you always get the odd one who just dont get it at all

Welcome, but I dont know about another Tommo on this forum. There must be trouble with the Tommo filter, so think yourself lucky.
