Help! Need advice on my next irons!

Have just bought a holiday place in Braunton 5 mins from the stunning Saunton Sands Links and membership is in!

However I need to have a second set of irons, given we have just laid out on the house I am a little strapped so what do you guys think are a good "players" iron that can be bought used for not too silly money (under £250)

And yes, I do know how bloody lucky I am!!!!!!

Plenty of deals to be had so hunt around. Yes you are a lucky whatsit

You can get good sets for well under your budget I'd expect on t'ebay.

I'd look at:

Bridgestone (great quality but not popular so cheap as chips)
Cobra (pro cb, pro mb, s3 pro etc)
Callaway X Forged (older models or maybe Razr X Forged)
Ap2
Titleist CB
Mizuno mp53/63
Ping s57/58
Etc etc

I've had my fair share of irons off eBay and they've all been well within your budget.

Just make sure you buy from reputable seller and you should pick up something decent no bother.

I just picked up Titleist CB 712 4-W with Project x 6.5 for £185, best irons I have ever hit, and the going rate seems to be a bargain...
