No i'm not trying to hide any filth before you ask! :)

It's just i may be selling on my netbook as i have a laptop now but want the best way to clear everything off it but leave the basic stuff on it such as windows etc without having to do a fresh install as it came pre installed with windows 7 when i got it new so don't have the disk to reinstall it.

Create a new user via control panel/users and log in as them, then delete the c:\users\YOURNAME folder.
Failing that the netbook may have a reinstall partition. What model is it?

You might be in luck, you should have a recovery partition which allows you to recover the whole system (OS and apps). When you boot up do you get the option to hit F4 to recover? if so, backup all of your personal docs, pics, vids etc and use the F4 route to reinstall the image of windows 7 etc.

I think you may be right, i'll have a look now.

Thanks.

There should be a Recovery partition as Brendy said, and this should take it back to factory settings.
Failing that you could use a registry cleaner, this will clean and overwrite data on the drive.
