Hello, I'd thought I'd introduce myself, I'm bob (mysterkaymer) I'm 32 and have in the last 3 months got back into golf after a 5 year break(work family commitments!) I have only played in 2005/6 for two years, only had one lesson for which I can't remember a single thing(5 years ago) and have only played on a school field/driving range before 2005. I am playing today to put my 3rd And final card in for my handicap. My best score So far on the winter greens is an 8+ through 16 holes (2 are closed during the winter)
I love the game and love to watch it on tv, play as often ad possibly can and improve all the time. My aims this year are to win a comp at my local club, and to finish in the top 10 in the order of merit!
Oh well I'm off to get ready to play at 8.30. It's rained all night so the course is going to be saturated, should be interesting. Anyway I hope to write more soon and be an active member.
