Just need some recommendations - 6 days parking for Heathrow Terminal 5 . I'm OK to drop-off for car to be parked by the parking company and so don't need to be parking my car myself. Purple Parking looks fine - but other recommendations or No-Nos are welcome.

Are you looking to stay over the night before you travel?

If so, the Holiday Inn that services Heathrow T5 usually does stay and park offers, where you pay £70 for a night, and it includes 8 days parking in their car park too. We used it for skiing back in Jan. It's about a 10 min taxi ride to the terminal or there's busses that run too.

No - we'll travel to LHR on the day as it's only 45mins awayand we'll be going there for 5:30am - so hopefully M25 will be behaving itself

It's a shame the pod parking is closed (assume it still is), as that's the best option. Although slightly more expensive, takes you straight to the departures terminal in less than 5 minutes.

Pod is open as far as i know, if you are far in advance enough, book the pod. 6 days you should get for about 150ish.. I dont trust the people you leave your keys with. (Note, most of my travel is expensed!!)

Yep, seems it's back open now. Definitely the way forward.

Travelling tomorrow...and given my car is not exactly a super car (it's a Golf)...not sure I'm fussed paying £150 for 6 days parking tbh = I'll accept the risk.

Still worth checking the stay and park option, sometimes works out same price as parking alone.

Used purple parking once, never again. Pain in the backside to get to. Waiting ages for the busses both ways. Having a tour of several terminals and 1 person manning the desk for about 15 of us when we got back.

POD parking however is awesome.?

I paid £256 for a months parking at T5 long stay back in May It's so easy, the bus to and from the Terminal runs around every 10 minutes.
