Does anyone have any experience with these?

They make high quality leather goods, predominantly golf score card holders, but also iPad cases.

As you'll see, not cheap, but I'm considering treating myself and maybe my dad to one.

Any info, as always, apprecated

Have you won the lottery Gareth?

They look smart nice but for that price I would want the score writing down for me!

I too thought this would be a course thread :D

The thing is with price, you could argue that with anything.

As an example. Look at some of the prices, on the link below, for belts

http://www.clubhousegolf.co.uk/acatalog/Golf_Belts.html

Only holds your troos up, but some are £70+......... See my point?

£60 for a scorecard holder! Bloody Hell! They do look nice and the quality is likely to be superb so if its for a treat go for it.

Mind you I wouldn't pay that much for a belt either! Suppose I'm tight like that...

Think I'll pop down sports direct and buy a new scorecard holder and belt for under £20 the pair!

They certainly look good Gareth but too pricey for my tastes. That said, if you want to buy me one too I'd be most grateful. I could buy another putter with the money I'd save....

We’ve done a bit with H&L in the past and they really are fabulous quality.

They are expensive but I can tell you the producer is working at incredibly low margin on them because they use such high quality leather and linings and they are genuinely handmade and in the UK to boot not some sweat shop in the Far East

If you're in the market for a quality scorecard holder and can afford one you won't be dissappiointed

Thanks for that Mike

That's the kind of reassurance I was looking for.

I saw an advert for them a couple of years back and have been toying with the idea of getting one ever since.
But the price does put me off.

I just can't justify spending that amount of cash when I have a baby on the way - prams are expensive and you need about £700 worth of nappies a year!

But the scorecard holders are very nice looking.

Ebay for the pram (i might be selling a bugaboo soon!) and i reckon if you buy sensibly (as in stock up when offers are on) you can do nappies for a year well under £500. thats a new score card holder for you sir! no charge from me ;)

For a bespoke company, their prices are actually reasonable. Compare them to the likes of the power fashion house's, then H&L's prices are a bargain.

Go for it

They do look absolute quality but I'd be thinking how long for..... In and out of the pocket after every hole, damp weather, wet hands.Id imagine in a short space of time it wouldn't look like the quality item it once was, it certainly wouldn't if I owned it. :D

No doubt they are of good quality. Does, as you say, beg the question the life span of something like this.

No doubt I'll find out soon enough :D
