I'd look good playing against my boy's Under 8's team and would almost certainly run the game. That doesn't mean I'm world class or phenomenal. It just means I'd look good against poor opposition - and that's what Scotland are.

Well at least you'd be used to that having watched Belgium and Hazard do that to you twice at the world cup!

Definitely one of the best players in the world currently. Top ten attackers, no doubt. Of all time - much too early to say that.
 
I don’t think he is even the best player at Chelsea :sneaky:

It's very difficult to compare players of different positions objectively to be honest. Whenever you see lists of supposed best players in the world, the top ones are always attackers because goals are valued higher and stick in the mind. But who can really say who is better out of a winger or a holding midfielder? Or a striker and a goalkeeper? I think you can only really compare like for like.

Yep and Hazard has been superb , unplayable at times but for me he isn’t consistent enough and does go missing plenty times , if picking a player from the team then for me it would be Kante - just a truely world class player who I think every single team would take - he is consistently at the top of his game

I'd have to disagree. Kante has moved further forward from the Makelele position that he used to occupy, and looks much less comfortable for it. Last 2 seasons as the sitting defensive midfielder I'd agree with you; this season he's not the same player by a long stretch. That's not to say I don't want him, but that he's not of the standard he's been in previous years.

I agree in regards to Kantes start this season, but I’d imagine if a team were to somehow get him from you, they’d Intend to put him back in the Makele role.

I think more teams could do with a Kante than a Hazard. That being said, it’s a nice situation to have both...
