I think I can squeeze some more yards out for sure.
I play a reg shaft and average about 230/240, but I cant swing more than 70% because if I do, the ball goes straight right, I think this is because the shaft is to whippy at any speed above my average swing speed.
If I was fot for a stiff I could swing faster and surely, I'd gain yardage, I'm just comftable where I am for now!

I'm comfy in the fact that I know my average distances for all my clubs so can select a club according to conditions, lie etc and be fairly sure that if I put a good swing on it that its the right tool for the job. I'm not fussed on what others are using on each shot as long as I put the best swing on it I can. To that degree I think I've reached my limitations in terms of getting all the distance I can and would rather swing these days at 90% capacity and TRY and put accuracy over length

Oh, b.t.w. (returning to the O.P.) I reckon I'm a fair but off my final distances. I believe in hit it better, hit it further.
As I have a few fundamental flaws in my swing, if they ever get sorted, I'd expect to gain plenty of yards, especially with the long clubs.

No. I'm very confident i could get more distance out of my woods/long irons though my accuracy must improve first.
I'd have to be swinging consistantly well to improve.

Took three shots last night to a 530yd par five to within two feet and got my 4.

I missed my 2 footer... for some unexplained reason I hit it outside the hole and it stayed there

Going by how far I hit the ball compared to others that I play with in medals I would say I am probably a little longer then average but I'm certainly not the longest. However, I hit the ball far enough that I am normally hitting 7i or less into the green and I'm happy with that so I've never really gone out looking for more yardage. Maybe it's out there, maybe it isn't but I have no real desire to go and find out (plus I'd probably end up spending money I don't have )
