Sadly not. Been over a few times, years ago with my then girlfriend who was irish and more recently with my wife but never been able to take my clubs with me

It's somewhere that I've always wanted to go but just never got round to it.
Many a time I've looked at organising a week over there with mates, but the fear of bad weather always put us off.
Shame.

I've been to Ireland twice and played golf twice, both courtesy of GM. One visit was to Carton House where I played the Montgomery Course, the other was to Royal Portrush where I played the Dunluce Links. I have been very lucky.

Yep, played Lahinch in beautiful sunshine, but -20 with the windchill off the sea... Loved the course, but still haven't got the feeling back in my fingers...:o

Never played in Ireland which is surprising as I think I have played everywhere else. Maybe something that needs to be fixed...

First year I've missed out in 16 years not playing in Ireland . I've played
Portstewart Strand 26 times, Portstewart RIverside and Town course
Castlerock, Ballycastle,Portrush Dunluce and Valley, Ballyliffen old and glashedy and Dunfanaghy.

Knock,Dundalk, St Margaret's ,Killrush and Stackstown and Limerick County .

Going to Donegal next year so it will be Donegal, Rosses Point, Narin & Portnoo and maybe Enniscrone

Alright Simon how goes it ?
Sallins/Naas area blessed with some great courses , Craddockstown & Palmerstown good to add when you over next..Parkland but worth it
All good thanks. You okay over there in my second homeland? ;) May be over for Christmas this year, so will try out Craddockstown... weather permitting! Happy to try and meet you for a round (assuming you're not too far)?

Up in the north I played Annesley Links at Royal County Down, Ardglass, Castlerock, Ballycastle and Portrush Valley this year - great trip.

There's loads more courses I'd love to play there.

Down south I played Lahinch and Killarney Killeen in the '90s

Love Ireland - and always had good weather when across there.

Being a local in Co Down - Yes I have played a lot of courses in Ireland. Some of the best courses in the world in the North with RCD and Royal Portrush but also some absolute crackers hidden away. Only played the Monty and O'Meara courses at Carlton House down South but plans afoot for another 2 courses next Paddys weekend.
