After a dismal first week in out winder league (12 pints over our 9 holes) I went out this week with a better frame of mind and racked up 21 points - scored on every hole with only one score of 1 - rest were 2s and 3s.
So, I'm a happy chap this evening and hungry for more of the same!
I duffed a couple of irons and 3 putted 3 times where my putting is usually solid - so I know there are more shots I can make up. On a more positive notes my drives were fairway splitters every time - last week I was ready to bin the big stick and I also hit some lovely high irons onto some greens that checked up quickly.
Will be smiling about that round for a few days!
