firstly one thing you never do is lie about your handicap how can they fit you up with a club when your lying pi55es me off when people do that

Firstly, one thing you never do is forget about your punctuation; how can they read your post when your not punctuating, really annoys me when people do that. :p

Really annoys me when people can't tell the difference between 'your' and 'you are' (you're) ;)

Think i will have to go back.. Alot of numbers jumping about that day.. i did my best to remember as many numbers etc as i could lol tho next time i go i will get swing speed/ Ball Speed and carry and spin.

But looking at Region3 states then i would say my details should go something like this around 103 or so swing speed - then 146 (around that) ball speed, 2300 spin (this was my best, normaly over 3000) - carry 242 (best)noramly around 235. each one was different so hard to get the exect details.

I am fairly new to the game in terms of custom fitting/ball speed etc. Like i said i told the guy 18 as I feel i was hitting the ball better than a 21 handicap and still do.. I play with a guy that plays off nine and hit not far off his standards but in sayin that around the green hes a different class..

To answer justonuk question i tend to hit 7/10 with a fade.. Deff not a slice normaly start down the middle then 5/15yards from centre by the time it lands..

Also i might try a different fitting place the next time to see how i get on.. As i felt a little pushed into buying the R9 460cc at the time the more i think about it, he wanted to take my old driver in p/x and knock 30quid off the price for taking that.. But think the driver was good price at £230 the 909 started at the same price £279 so guessing that be around the same money 230 with the trade in.

I've got to be honest and say I wouldn't get too hung up on the numbers per se. I'd use them as an aid to what shaft flex suits best but even then I'd be tempted to play around with regular and stiff and see which gives you the best ball flight and direction. My swing is quick (way too quick really) but I'm a regular flex although my swing speed suggests stiff. I just find I have more control with regular and foresake a little higher flight for better consistancy

I would stick with what you have. The G5 is a great driver and it doesn't sound like you were drastically changing specs?

I would say that 9.5 degrees might be on the low side. The lower the degree the higher the side spin, as there is less back spin to negate the side spin. If you slice....sorry....fade.....you may want to go up a degree and see whether this calms it down. I'm suprised the Pro didn't advise this actually.

I have 2 drivers: a reg flex 10.5 Ping G2 and a stiff 10.5 Ben Sayers Benny. I swing my driver hard, but only just in stiff flex teritory, so the G2 tends to suit me better.
