i got a set of mp68's on wed, traded in my R7 tp's.
the mp68's are amazing, but only hit them on the range because of this f'ing snow.
gutted gutted gutted.

I know what you mean. I've been working hard after a lesson recently and it was starting to come together. I haven't hit a ball for ages now so I've no idea what will happen if and when I get out before Christmas. Add in the fact that I'd love to try the Pelz short game and putting tests and I'm as frustrated as you are.

im just glad ive got an explanar & indoor putting gear to keep the swing & putting ticking over, otherwise id be going crackers

not played for 9 days now due to the snow! booooo. I was really looking forward to a few rounds over the holidays, but if the forecast is correct, we'll be sledging more often than golfing.

Maybe a couple of trips out to east lothian will solve the problem. Anyone out there know if gullane or north berwick are under snow?

Homer

Thanks for that pelzgolf thing, a really interesting training tool. One that I cant wait to go and use and see how bad/good I am.

Looks like my game booked for christmas eve is in great doubt so the 27th (sunday)is looking like my first date.

Still no snow here so played on Saturday, was actually really pleasant. Sun was shining, no wind so it was a lovely day for golf, just that the greens were like concrete!! Did show that they are in very good nick for the time of year because they still rolled fairly true.

Sky Caddie became very useful for yardages to the front so that you can aim to just miss the putting green and hope for a bobble on or at worst an easy chip.

Hope for a little thaw before the 27th when I am due to play next.

holiday game is booked for 29th, Verulam, new course to both of us. no chance for anything before, even the ranges are closed. now hoping for a thaw.

white christmas? bah, humbug

Do any rich golfers stay in Britain during the winter?
All the courses around me are closed and the ranges too.
If I ever get rich, come the winter, you wont see my rear end for dust(snow).
This time next year Rodney... :)

Slugger, Goswick is shut,Dunbar is shut but I don't know about any others.Dunbar reckon they may be open again soon as it is thawing.Inland it looks a no no,certainly speaking for East Lothian and the Borders. :(

given the option, I'd be abroad in the sun even as a poor golfer, but she won't go 'cos of the kids.
I don't know, you work to get your own out and they repay you by producing a new batch for you to look after while they enjoy themselves.

cheers for the info dodger...

when is the weather going to learn to snow in the hills and not on the coast! that way i could have a holiday of skiing and golf and be a very happy man!
