Reading throught the new rules I see there is an area called a "No Play Zone" which I presume has taken over in part from GUR as I can't find reference to it in the book. Is this correct?

If so will be a relief for those green keepers / managers who continually white line areas they don't repair (GNUR).

No

GUR remains as an AGC and may contain a no play zone. No play zones may, or may not relate to AGC.

No Play Zone
A part of the course where the Committee has prohibited play. A no play zone must be defined as part of either an abnormal course condition or a penalty area.

GUR will not have to be a No Play Zone (NPZ).

Of course, it doesn't have to be 'play prohibited' or 'compulsory relief' now.

It is possible to have No Play Zones in the OB to avoid damage by stance.
