Got GTA5 last night for my daughter, stood in the queue at midnight, with a load of people that I now realise after seeing the game for the first time, looked and spoke like characters out of the game.
I'm not a prude and it takes a lots to offend me, but I have to say that GTA5 goes way over and beyond what is decent. I always thought that computer games didn't affected or have any bearing on how real people would act in real life, but this game, I think changes my mind.
The amount of swearing and the racist slurs, did shock me, which is no wonder why it is an 18 certificate game.
To be fair to Rockstar Games they have never tried to hide the fact that this game is anything other than an adults only type affair so it's up to parent etc to ensure that little Jimmy doesn't end up with a copy for his birthday.
