groove sharpeners on vokey

I wouldn't bother. Keep the grooves clean and dry and you won't have too much too much trouble. At this time of year, it's easy to stop the ball on the wet greens and I'd rather be playing a low chip and run up to the flag.
 
Not sure whether ping wedge is cast or not, but if its cast it will be harder metal, and you may do some groove sharpening. However the effort will have to be quite brutal, your more likely just cleaning it and a bit of roughening the edges.
I use a groove sharpener on my vokeys, you do get some extra spin, but this will be only for 3-4 rounds, you also get more ball damage. I kind of gave up on it a bit because I thought this will just be never ending and in the process of doing it frequently the grooves will get so wide and mangled they will be useless. The cleveland wedge I have is cast but the rtx surface is good, just a stiff brush rubbing down and a wipe in wet grass, followed by a towel down is enough. The spin performance has remained the same since I got it.

Out of interest, how do you make sure you don't exceed the current groove size limit....?

Mate... I drive it 320 + yards with one arm cause I am hitting the ball first and steep ( wouldn't get my forum membership if I didn't ) :rofl:
