Whilst we're on the subject of road safety its about time this was taught to people & not just children once more...

How many people do we see every day just walk straight out into the road without looking... And who gets the blame by the police It certainly isn't the pedestrian, as currently you can't procicute a pedestrian for undue care & attention & I supose dangerous walking..lol (slight humour).

For Gods sake start teaching road sense to people & teach them the Green cross code its a dangerous place out there, especially so these days.

The one that gets up my nose is the women who put their pushchairs into the gutter whilst waiting to cross.

Times I've seen that. Putting their child in danger whilst being safe on the pavement themselves.

And how many times these days have we seen kids playing football out in the road between parked cars let alone this

And I've not even gotten into the potential damage to the parked cars of this associated topic of playing ball sports in the road, especially where there are excelent playing fields no more than a 3 wood away from my doorstep, that they can get to safely with proper automated crossing signals.

I could take out a dozen school kids every single day if I was a less observant driver.

In fact I've got a meeting with the Head of a local school tomorrow as his pupils all seem to have a death wish and I think he needs to know.

I remember the Tuffty Club, Should definately bring it back.
The Hotel I work at is doing it's bit to protect the Red Squirrel as we occassionaly have Grey Squirrel on the menu (Peking duck style Squirrel pancakes)
