Great service

I was custom fit recently for some apex pro irons. I had the c/f from an authorised dealer, and the clubs were ordered on a Tuesday lunch time. I was quoted two weeks, and was then stunned when I got the phone call on the Thursday morning that they were in, and needed collecting. Not even 48 hours later. Amazing response from Callaway, given that nothing was standard. Custom shafts, custom length, lie angle and grips.

I decided that I wanted a 3 iron. Something a bit more forgiving than the Apex pro though! I wanted the same shaft as my new irons, just a more forgiving head. I decided on a Mizuno MPH5, and ordered it through Snainton. Custom length, lie angle and grip. Ordered it on Monday, on two weeks delivery, and received it today. Ok, not as fast as Callaway, but wow, still pretty quick. Much quicker than I expected, anyway, just 4 days.

Well done to Complete Golfer, Callaway, Snainton, and Mizuno. Great service. I can't see how it could be better.

Callaway don't do pink, as that would have been my preferred choice!

my own first thoughts also- local fitter (at AG) when I tried apex pro last week also said they turn around in 2 days as its quiet, too damn quiet Caruthers


For parity, he also said Mizuno and Ping also about 2-3 days but Titleist 2 weeks:thup:
