If money were no object and you carried both a Skycaddie (other makes are available but not necessarily so good) and a laser rangefinder, my guess would be that after the honeymoon period you would use the gps more often.
I'll go along with this.
Having said that there are a few holes at my place where judging the position of the hole can be tricky. There is no help such as different colour flags for front. middle or back and no "ball" halfway up the flagstick. If you can't see the bottom of the flag its difficult to gauge. Many a time I've come up short or gone long as I've misjudged the actal pin position. So a laser in that situation would help me no end.
