Picked up my 910D2 yesterday, signs are good so far although the wind has made it hard to judge too much.
Feel really confident with it in my hands and hit some good shots with it over the last 2 days. Still need to iron out a few allignment issues but tbh I'm buzzing whenever I'm hitting it which I have never felt with a driver!
I have the stiff Diamana 'ilima and its 9.5 degrees if anyone is interested?

I think you have hit the nail on the head.
A lot of players on the forum have one,however the word "confidence"is the key.
