Soco11 cheers, but didnt really have a choice ! although if I do well in my exams I get a scotty also I do work for my dad and he gives me a generous rate (although it's still work )

I know they are not cool but some good deals on Dunlop starter kits to get him going, my daughter is 8 and I got her a few clubs and bag fir less than £40 from sportsdirect. She loves hitting balls at the range.

Think of it this way.

If he likes the game and enjoys it, you will have something in common and activity you can share with him for most of the rest of your life.

I couldn't think of anything much better than that really.
