I took the grandkids to the Kirkcubright Tattoo on Saturday.....first visit.
Brilliant event held in the town square on a lovely warm night in bonny Galloway
The MC announced a tug o war event and asked for the 'visitors' team to step up to take on the Kirkcubright team.
This had been pre-arranged and eight burly men from around the world took their places on the rope.
Bring on the Kirkcudbright team he yelled and about 100 primary school kids raced on to take the other end of the rope.
The kids won easily despite the eight men giving their all.
The Portsmouth Marine Cadets team, who took part in the gun carriage race, then asked for a go and the kids won again......the two lead men ended up being dragged along the cobbles.
So funny to watch.
