good news / bad news......

Reminds me of a joke I heard recently.

Man comes home and his wife says she has good and bad news for him - what does he want to hear first? He replies, just for once, can't you try and deliver both at the same time?

His wife thinks it over and says yes, I probably can in this case............................ "Your brother's todger isn't quite as big as yours is".

Well, it made me laugh anyway....

Hawkeye and I have our winter knockout on Saturday. I'm hoping the course will be wet as neither of the oppos are that long. May play into our (Mikes hands). Stableford Sunday. To be honest I'm happy if the course is a mudbath as long as we are on proper greens.

Definitely playing on Saturday, provided we are not snowed off of course, got my brother over for the weekend and we've not had a round since early summer.

Hows Beverley looking if you read this Henry?

well thats that fooked, a solid night of heavy rain has left casual water and large puddles in a lot of the local fields, this would indicate the course would be a mud-bath (as a muni they will still open though), then just as the rain stopped about 6am this morning... snow...... and its not bloody stopping

thinking of ringing a few of the lads and arranging lunch at the club as a christmas thing and leaving the sticks and the car indoors..... *hic*

bet your place looks lovely in the snow... may even slow them blasted greens down a touch!

Last year we went up and Sophie some photos when it had snowed, and must admit it did look great, especially with the kids sledging into the bunkers on the 18th fairway. Greens about 6 on the stimp at the moment.;)
