After all the hysteria from the press and media I hope Mr Murray has kept well away from it all and does himself justice in the Australian Open. We are all desperate for a British winner but I am not sure this is gonna be his tourney. If he can get through the first couple of rounds and gets his eye in then he will have a real chance.

By the time I wake up in the morning he could be on his way home.

Well he seems to have the measure of the Big 2 at the moment so anything can happen.

I hope he wins a Grand Slam soon. More will surely follow if he does.

Yup, Pavel's retirement will help Andy conserve energy for the later rounds. He has the game and the mental approach required to win: unfortunately he'll have to beat Nadal or Federer or both to win his first slam and they almost always raise their games in the big tourneys. Remember Federer at the US Open last year, he was outstanding in the final against Andy.

Anyway, good luck to the boy.
