Golfs clubs in the car??

Good "market research" this. If I was a cynic (heaven forbid that 15 years of working for Sky would cause me to be) but what the first time poster now knows is that quite a high percentage of club golfers (from a sample of 39 replies) leave their gear in the car after leaving their club... Wonder what that "market research" could be used for... Project Crowbar? :D

On the other hand, it could be for a miracle boot tidy golf device...

No explanation was given as to what it was for yet a lot of information was divulged.
Oh dear, I really am a cynic!

my thoughts exactly.

i leave my clubs in an underground bunker, surrounded by razor wire and guarded by a belt-fed machine gun. go on, i dare you...

I didnt reply either due to this. I have the same set up at home, but with added rabid rottweilers.

I've got 2 lockers at my club  I use one solely for my bag & clubs and the other I have all shelved out with all my balls, towels, caps/hats, waterproofs, shoes and loads of other stuff that accumulates. I have a shoe bag and they come home every other round for a clean & polish.

I have a trolley which is hardly ever used which is kept in our trolley shed also at the club.

The only time they come into the car is when I'm playing away but I bought an older estate car solely for taking the dog out and my clubs so it can get dirty and I don't care that much. Both the dog & clubs don't venture into my main car or HID's car.

My club had an instance last year where members were followed home and anyone who didnt take their clubs out the boot had their boot jemmied and clubs nicked that night!

Cautionary tale!

This is the first pre-requisite for owning a car for me.

1. Is the boot big enough for my golf kit?
2. Can the learners drive it easily?

Strangely enough when I was looking at a new car last year my criteria was that you could get a set of golf clubs in the boot. I used to have a Mondeo that has a cavernous boot and was great. But I needed a 4x4 and was surprised at the number of (relatively affordable) 4x4s that had relatively small boots which you would struggle to get a bag and folded up trolley in.

As for the OP, I as guessing this project is some kind of club carriage service where you get someone to get your clubs to your destination for you without messing up your own car.
