Don't tee of in a competition with a number 3 ball. And according to our pro I'm not alone. He says quite a lot of people buying a sleeve of balls will request any number but 3.

Non golfing, I do tend to check the car's locked a couple of times when walking away from it. Drives the wife nuts. ;)

I wouldn't call them OCD's, but I have routines etc. 4 long tees, 4 short tees in from right pocket. Ball marker, pitch repairer and club cleaner in back right pocket. Glove will go in back right pocket when putting. Obviously all clubs have their specific gaps to go in in the bag. I suppose it is just something I have got myself in to, and never got out of it!!

i have been known to set off to work get round the block and come back to check the door and guess what its be locked everytime

I have done the same, often have to walk back from the car, just to check I locked door!
!
Phew its not just me then .. i blame HID she forever leaving back door unlocked ..
not OCD but usualy have tees in left pocket , pen, ball marker & pitch repair in right , score card in back right , organised rather than OCD (i hope)

I have to light a cigar on the 1st, 7th & 13th tee......................I've got to give up smoking so what could I do instead?

Slime.

I prefer balls with a 3 on them (especially pro v1 x's). If you have any spare just send them my way:)

Mine is that I have to start the round with 8 long tees, 4 short tees, a pitch fork and 2 ball markers in my pocket. The ball I hit my first tee shot with has to be an even number, preferably a 4.

My tees and markers have to be in my left hand front pocket. Two pencils in my back right pocket with my scorecard holder.

All my clubs have to be in their specific place in the bag, i have a pitch repairer, a euro for ball marking, and tees in the front right pocket, glove back left, score card back right!
I also annouce my ball and say 'have a good round' before I tee off!
Its not ocd....... just habit!

also put my left shoe on first.........................
:)

2 long tees, 1 short tee, 1 ball marker, 1 pitch mark repairer in the right pocket. Glove and ball in the left pocket.

Practice green, before the round, only one ball. There's no 2nd chances out on the course, so only one ball on the practice green. 2 pencils in the card holder. Clubs in the bag in a specific order, and if I have a caddy I find myself rearranging them into the 'right' order after he's put them back in the bag.

No, no ocd here...

Sorry but you all need help, and soon.:mmm:

park in the same spot in the car park. its the nearest to the first tee but away from the shop. most of the time i just lift my bag and trolly over the wee fence and jump over instead of going to the shop. when i was in england for a week my mate sent me a pic of my space. nice and empty! the way i like it! thinking of making a sign like the captain etc. lol

good lord i thought i was the only nutter ahem i mean um.....cant think of a better word for it sorry

My ocd is that i must putt 3 6 footers in a row or i wont have a good putting day, also on the first tee if i hit a bad drive i will hit bad ones all day, conversely a good one and im set for the round...totally bonkers i know but thats me.

Also my current wife (like to introduce her as that , keep her on her toes) has OCD over straighteners left on.

so much so we were going to lincoln from glasgow and had to stop at southwaite and phone for her mum to drive 10 miles to check they were off.

i should have told them that i had already checked as i know what she is like, but again thats me ...a little bit evil :O)

Phew! Glad someone said it! I was beginning to think I was the strange one!

Ive been thinking that ever since you joined the forum

Edit: No wonder there are so many 5 hour rounds these days with all you lot and your OCD's!
