Anyone else do this?

Was in the pub on Saturday night, me, HID, my mate and his missus.
Me and my mate were talking golf. Looked round to see HID and my mates missus laughing (at us)
We asked what the joke was and were told that they knew we were rabbitting about golf because we were "doing the actions."

I just take it for granted and don't even think about it. Later on we resumed our conversation and hey presto! We were putting and chipping in the pub as we spoke.

Can't be the only ones who do this........... are we?

Nope.

There is a chap in my local pub who, whenever he sees me, goes into minute detail on his latest swing mechanics involving imaginary grip and full swing......bit embarassing really:o

I don't mind talking about golf - but usually after a round with a beer in my hand.

I'm envisaging practice swings with a full pint atop your heads......keep your head still to not spill any type thing. ;)

Tell me I'm wrong!

Many moons ago a senior club member (ex captain I think) said he thought he was swinging the club too upright. So I got the presidents putter from the wall mount in the lounge bar and told him to swing under the smart chandelier. If was swinging to upwirght, he would hit the chandelier.
Yup - he was swining too upright! Glass everywhere!

Back to the post - you see it everywhere. I have to laugh at the airport check in queue where (mostly men) are practicing their full swing.

My work crew laugh at me all the time as when I get up off my seat I am always making a golf swing...
