I know it's not restricted to golfers, but has anyone had this and can offer any good exercises to help with it's recovery?

Thanks.

Mine was tennis elbow and personally I'd recommend the cortisone shot into it. Hurt like hell at the time (my ever sympathetic GP reckoned that this was the proof that he was in the right place; had one previously from a different GP in the practice with little effect) but fixed what had been a relatively long problem in a fairly short time frame. Can't help with any exercises as the shot got rid of the need, just tried to rest it & support it with a Tubigrip bandage.

I would second that! It blooming well hurts a lot but worth it.
There is also a thin support that helps. Below the elbow I think, so long ago!!

I know the one you mean, wraps round the thickest part of the forearm, just below the elbow. I haven't tried it myself, but I've played with people who've used them and reckoned they helped.

Had this two years ago Gary, proverbial pain in the ....Elbow.

Best exercise I was given was to bend my hand back and rotate my wrist and lower arm 180 degrees, lean against a surface and then apply pressure. Repeat that 10 times and do that 4 times a day. It stretched out the tendon that's problematic.

Other than that, ice and heat at night helped loads too.

Thanks Greig.

I've had pain in my inner elbow before but it's only been twinges and gone in a couple of days. I've had this now for about 10 days and it's starting to get annoying, especially when I forget and go to pick something heavy up!

I've already seen a physio about 2 other things in the last couple of months so wanted to try exercises before going to see him again otherwise he might start to think I'm stalking him!
