Golfbuyitonline.com - poor experience

I ordered a putter a few days ago from golfbuyitonline.com at a good price, today I received an email to say the order had been cancelled "as requested" which I didn't request. I called them to be fobbed off saying it was out of stock and they couldn't fulfill the order despite it still showing as in stock on the website even now.

This is the first and last time I use this site, they can't even show correct stock levels or send me a correct email to say there was a problem, not impressed. :angry:

I can, hand on heart, say I've never had a bad experience with them and your experience comes as a bit of a surprise.

I've ordered plenty of stuff over the last few years from them, mainly clothes and found them excellent.

You speak as you find, looking at their ebay outlet there's quite a few negatives and neutrals reporting the same problem

Totally agree with you on that fella. Never brought clubs off them myself, just clothing.

Same, used them quite a bit and I've always found them to be well priced and a great service. Always delivered on time.

It might be one of those situations where they are now starting to become popular and starting to struggle with demand, but that's just me making excuses for them

To be fair I've used them a few times with no problems.

You could just have been unlucky.

I have purchased new irons, new wedges and a number of accessories lately, and their service has been first class.

Excellent prices, fast delivery.

No complaints whatsoever.

3 of the 4 times i've used them i've had emails saying they haven't got the item. i only use them as a last resort. shocking service. cg golf discount all the way for me

I attempted purchase, one item out of stock despite the website saying different. Hard to deal with and won't go near them again with a barge pole. Too many other outfits that offer a professional service. I'm prepared to pay a few quid more and be certain of decent service

I always thought that forums were places to express one's views?

I had a view, I expressed it. Honestly, I don't see the problem with that.

Now I'm not suggesting you are anything to do with the company in question but if you are you should take note of the criticism its receiving... But as you have made clear you are just a happy customer and I'm happy that your happy 👍

And Golfbuyitonline.com still have the putter showing as in stock on their website, they clearly don't give a stuff, too much bother not to mislead customers it seems.
