Golf webiste, have any of you used them?

Thanks mate!! You've seen me play, any suggestions for what type of irons I should plump for? Pretty sorted with my driver so will look at getting the 3 wood of it.

Irons wise something mid range be ideal, so some sort of cavity back without needing to be a super GI shovel lol

Would look at the Ping G series, Callaway X series, Titleist AP1s, best bet be to go to AG or Direct Golf and have a look and a hit (but with no intention of buying there and then!) get a feel for what you like then shop around (and preferably get them properly fit)

From memory think DG have a better range of clubs but the net at AG is better (both have a trackman or similar)

whats the budget?

Can recommend Snainton Golf as I have bought woods, driver and R11 irons from them. Competitive on price and good service.

Good man!

Budget is not yet set really. More of a case of trying to scrimp and save however much I need, I won't be buying them until July when hopefully get enough money from muy birthday or can drop enough hints to make the old man buy me some.

Oh and the Palmerstone at Brocket Hall is amazing!!! I loved it!! Felt like a pro going round there. Melbourne was still nice, but palmerstone is lush. Hurt my knee last thursday and after about 12 holes on the melbourne walking/limping around I was in agony. Shot 102, 43 front nine with two 3 putts and a juicy 59 on the back! (blame it on the knee) Shot 99 on Palmerstone with 6 pars.

I know I've not seen you play, but if you can find a set of TaylorMade R9's, they're lovely! There should be some great deals on them now too, as the R11 irons are out.

I tried the latter today, and don't think they offer anything more than the R9's and look a little uglier.

Clubhousegolf and snainton golf are the best, plus if you are looking for a few clubs, if you e-mail them they'll give you a better deal than that listed. They boh knocked around £250 off my clubs earlier this year
