Anybody use them?
Are they suited to all players, and what type of edge do you feel they give you and your game?

Garmin S1. Great bit of kit. Takes the guesswork out of distances, let's you trust hitting your shot. Speeds up a round, glance at watch, choose club, hit ball. Simple. I'm a high handicapper and if it stopped working I'd buy another straight away. Love it.
I'd second the S1, one downer to be aware of is the strap is not the best and is integral with the watch case so if it goes Garmin have you over a barrel for the lot, so I'd probably go for an S2. The other issue is the battery life struggles to do 36 holes if that's an issue for you, I think later models address this. I'm a lower handicapper, but I think that's all I need, gives you front middle and back which is sufficient confirmation for me.
