Play off 5. Played it on a very windy day in their 36er, just missed the prizes.

Also played Nairn off the Championships last year in the King Trophy, also in a howler, shot 82 and also just missed the prizes (6th nett I think).

There were 3 of us there, one who is a links fanataic and who we have trouble to get entering any open if it's inland, and none of us will head back up there again, the other two play Nairn every year. (And they're both Cruden Bay members fwiw.)
Now Cruden Bay is a course that divides opinion like no other. I love it and would play there every day if I had a chance.

I played in the King Trophy last year and i wasn't a howler just a normal day at Nairn;)

Indeed, love it too (well apart from the 9th and 15th), but I have a mate who detests the place with a passion, and the two aforemenioned mates who are members there. It's certainly quirky.
