Simple really, the rugby final clashes with peak golf tee times. Especially as this Saturday is "monthly medal" (for us, at least). So are you playing golf or watching rugby?

I’ll probably be playing, and watching a recording of the rugger.
My club is putting the game on a big screen and opening the kitchen and bar up early for those that want to watch it before going straight after.

The choice to play instead of watching it live is a difficult choice though:)

Neither I'm off on a cat trip but i voted 'play golf' because that's what I'd usually pick (& what I picked for the semi's)

Voted for watching the rugby.

Disappointed not to get the call from Eddie Jones saying I'd at least be on the bench. I spent the last few days bringing my body to a peak level of fitness, capable of withstanding 80 minutes of intense, physical play. It hasn't come without sacrifices, e.g. a 3rd helping of apple crumble last night.

I've almost resigned myself from missing out on a starting spot but if he needs me for the bench I'm ready. If I don't get that call he is dead to me. We won't ever speak again, and he will forever be off my Christmas Card list.

Last chance Eddie, make that call.

We've put our usual roll-up back two hours, big watching party, club doing breakfasts. So we get the best of both worlds.

Not sure. I run the Saturday roll up with balls drawn at 7.45. Torn between sending those not interested in the rugby out at normal time and then having a second wave after the rugby or just not bothering and letting them sort themselves and watch the match. With 20 South Africans in the clubhouse it's going to be huge banter.

I was due to be playing at 9am this Saturday, booked pre semi finals. I rang my friend Satruday afternoon and we changed it to 11.25, we will watch the game on a big screen with others in the clubhouse. I have lots of chance to play golf, later on Saturday, the following day, next week etc. We don't get many chances to see an England team play in a world cup final in a sport that has some meaning to either the country or to myself (I add this as we may be in the final of team bmx or dressage etc but I don't care about those sports)

Saturday will be an occasion for big chunks of the country. Why not embrace it and join in the fun?

I'm not playing golf til midday but I'll probably just sleep through the rugby since I couldn't care less about it. (y) Best of both worlds, a lie-in and then golf.

Golf for me. Could be a very small roll up at the club. We have tee times pre booked from 8, so can't move them. Annoyed at missing the rugby, but I want to play too. If it rains, then Rugby.

Doing neither as my interest in golf is waning due to everything being so wet still, but voted golf as no interest in Rugby at all. Probably finally do a park run Saturday morning then get roped into something ing around the house after

Never play golf on a Saturday so it's a non issue.

I've got no beer to bottle, my daughter will be at work, the wife will be doing the food shopping so it will be myself, the dog and maybe the cat sat on the sofa for the morning.
