My wife used to play golf, hasn't done for 20 odd years. She went to a ladies into golf session yesterday at my club, really enjoyed it, and now wants to join on an academy membership. Very happy if she wants to start playing again, opens up so many golfing opportunities.

Opening drive at Saunton West today was a corker. Got to my ball, reached in the bag for my gap wedge to find, "no gap wedge."

Went into sulk mode trying to think where I might have lost.

After the round, rang Newport Pro Shop, where I last played on Sunday, to see if they had it.

Yep, someone had handed it in! Faith in human nature restored!

I bought some PXG irons back in 2023 but I wanted to confirm the specs because I couldn’t remember. I contacted PXG with the serial numbers and got the full build spec an hour later .. perfect .
Looks like I had a good idea as well as the lofts are close to old club lofts with the 7 coming in at 33 degrees.
