Hi, I have a couple of friends going to Las Vegas next week and was going to see if they can bring me back some Pro V1's as I guess they are cheaper out there.

I went years ago and dont remember any retailers on/near the Strip where i could ask them to go and pick me up a couple of boxes - has anyone been recently and can point em in the right direction.

Cheers

I was in Florida at the beginning of the year playing golf and visited some of the large golfing establisments which make American Golf/Nevada Bobs look like a corner shop. The prices were pretty much the same as you would pay here for clubs/balls etc. so there was no great savings as there used to be. What was different was you can buy Titleist balls with higher numbers on them. In the UK they are numbered 1-4, but over there they are numbered 1-8, just something different I suppose.
I don't know if the current exchange rates will make any difference now.

In Florida at the moment and no savings on balls but some good deals to be had on polo's and windproof tops.

Shorts are as cheap as chips also but no need for them in Scotland

Not much point as the prices will be bascally the same as here. Golf in Vegas and all that goes with it is ludicrously expensive.

I was there in June this year. Las Vegas Golf and Tennis has a big place just off the strip. But to be honest the prices weren't that great.

When I was there I think it had only just opened, they were on the other side of the strip last time I went there.

I was there 3 weekends ago. Bought a few Nike balls in the Nike shop but gold stuff wasnt really that much cheaper than over here. As for Levi's, however... well thats a different story! Get him to get you some jeans ;-)
